Terms & Conditions
All guests are expected to observe the following conditions, which are set out to promote a safe, efficient and happy environment for all campers and pets.
- Arrivals after 2 pm; departures by noon.
- Be respectful of your neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum. We expect the site to be quiet 10 pm to 8 am.
- Smoking/vaping is not permitted in or around the amenity block.
- Electric cars are not to be charged on site
- Max 4 adults/pitch
- Pets:
- Max of 1 pet unless by prior arrangement.
- Must always be kept on a lead.
- Must be exercised/toileted off site.
- Must not be left unattended on site or left alone in vehicles.
- Are not permitted in the amenities block.
- Any fouling must be cleared away immediately.
- Open fires are strictly forbidden. Charcoal BBQs are allowed; please ensure they are raised from ground level
- Other than toddlers' trikes, bikes are not to be ridden on site
- All day visitors by prior arrangement only. Visitors must be booked on to the site; a fee is payable.
- The owners are absolved of all liability for accidents to caravans and guests, and from responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
- The owners reserve the right to ask any person not observing the site rules or creating a nuisance to leave the campsite.
- The owners reserve the right to add to or alter these terms and conditions at any time.
Booking Conditions
- To confirm a reservation we request a non-refundable deposit of the greater of the first night's pitch fee or £10/night.
- The deposit is payable by BACS.
- The balance can be made via cash, card or BACS upon arrival.
- Any refunds will be subject to a £10 administration fee.
- Payments for electricity charges will be due for all metered usage in excess of 5kW/night, at a rate of 65p/kW.
- In the event that your booking is affected by Covid-19, you have the flexibility to move your booking to alternative dates within 18 months of the start of your holiday. The flexible rebooking is only available for cancellations related to genuine Coronavirus restrictions and not for cancellations related to weather or other reasons.
Information
- On arrival please report to Reception on arrival - in the barn, through the wash up area
- Payments are welcome by cash, card or BACS.
- Please vacate pitches by noon unless a late departure has been arranged.
- The maximum speed limit on site is 5mph
- Caravans should be reversed onto pitch and not positioned broadside on.
- Drinking water points and a wastewater point are clearly marked around the site.
- Chemical toilet disposal is located in the amenity block.
- Family shower room/baby changing/baby bath and disabled shower room is available.
- A fridge and freezer are available to use in the laundry room; please name food, ice packs etc.
- There are games, books & magazines available for your use in the laundry room.
- Refuse, glass and cardboard/paper recycling facilities are available on site. We accept house hold waste only - no camping equipment.
- FIRE RISK – PLEASE TAKE EXTRA CARE IN DRY PERIODS with naked flames, cigarettes, BBQs etc near to the woodland.
- FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND FIRE BUCKETS are located near the sinks in washing up area.
